Loved the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful Christmas decor, it really made our stay special. The sunny garden was perfect for relaxing with a hot drink while the kids played, creating lovely family memories. The only hiccup was some barking from dogs during our visit, but that didn’t ruin our time at all! 😊

Oh mate, the culinary delights at The Swan were a real treat! The hotpot was tasty despite its size, and we savored the local charms nearby— Emma's Dell was a gem! Plus, the cozy bar had a good vibe for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The dining experience could use a sprinkle of improvement. The evening meal left me wanting more, as my lamb hotpot was a wee bit small, and the carrots felt like they were just thrown on the plate. A bit of creativity in serving would go a long way!

Gorgeous garden area, historic ambiance, stunning views from rooms
Bathrooms could use serious upgrades!!! Noise disturbances from nearby rooms were quite distracting. Limited parking spaces also added to the hassle of our stay, especially during the busy weekend!!!

Had a fantastic time with friends! We hit up some great places like the Championship Course with its stunning views, and the Spey Valley Resort which was a golfers' paradise. The location of the hotel was perfect, and we enjoyed comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. Breakfast was delicious too, setting us up for a day of exploring.
We did encounter an issue with our bags being left unattended at check-in, which felt a bit concerning. The staff's response wasn't as helpful as it could have been.

Perfect for Family Getaway
We had a delightful stay at this charming hotel! The family room was spacious and clean, providing all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and our kids loved the bunk beds. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection, including freshly made pastries and cooked options that were absolutely delicious. A minor downside was having to navigate some stairs with our belongings, as the layout can be a bit tricky, especially with larger suitcases.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location with stunning views, ideal for exploring the hiking trails. The hearty English breakfast each morning was impressive, offering a wide range of hot and cold options. the mattress in our average-sized room was sagging in the middle and needs replacing. the check-in process felt slightly disorganized, which could be improved for satisfaction. a pleasant stay with a few minor issues.

Staying at The Swan in Grasmere was a delightful stop for my hiking trip. The room was spacious, clean, with a massive comfy bed that made relaxation easy. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, especially after long days outdoors. Breakfast options were great, setting us up perfectly for our adventures. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed. the dining experience could use some improvement. While the food tasted good, my evening meal lacked creativity, with portions that felt a bit small and uninspired. I noticed several menu inconsistencies during my stay too, which could be confusing. The location is perfect, giving easy access to trails and beautiful views, but the noise from the busy road at night was a bit bothersome. I also found the bar staff a little slow to respond, especially during peak times. I had a lovely time, but with some attention to the dining options and service efficiency, it could be even better.
